Summary of Planning Applications and Decisions for weeks commencing 14 + 21 September 2015

No new major planning applications in the Portobello area have been submitted or decided in the last two weeks.

The following applications have been decided:

  • 15/03166/FUL has been granted: Partially demolish existing rear kitchen extension and rebuild new single storey kitchen extension including internal alterations, at 7 Argyle Crescent
  • 15/00535/FUL, 15/00548/LBC have been granted: Demolish existing extension and erect new rear extension, at 24 Brighton Place
  • 15/04160/TCO raise no objection: Permission for tree works, at 2 Argyle Crescent
  • 15/03598/FUL has been granted: Erect new uPVC lean-to style conservatory onto rear elevation of existing house, at 52 Adelphi Place

The following applications have been submitted:

  • 15/03995/FUL: convert and to extend the existing free standing garage on the side of the house, into additional living space, and a WC and utility space, at 262 Milton Road East

  • 15/04197/AMC: Application for approval of matters specified in conditions. Erection of 61 Dwellings (Terraced Housing, Townhouses & Colony Dwelling) along with 44 No Flats. at Site 100 Metres West Of 17-21 Portobello High Street
  • 15/04234/AMC: Proposal for 52 affordable housing units on a vacant brownfield site on Fishwives Causeway, Portobello. Part of a wider site master plan granted planning permission in principle in June 2015. at Site 100 Metres West Of 17-21 Portobello High Street
