School Streets Phase 2, Including Towerbank PS (Proposed ETRO/15/45)

VARIOUS ROADS – EDINBURGH (SCHOOL STREETS)

PROPOSED PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES

I refer to our previous letter of 9 October 2015 regarding the above.

In accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999, I write to inform you that the City of Edinburgh Council proposes to advertise the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order which will introduce a prohibition of vehicular movement in the vicinity of the following primary schools and at the times listed below:

Bonaly Primary School

08:20 to 09:05 and 14:55 to 15:35 Mondays to Thursdays inclusive and

08:20 to 09:05 and 12:10 to 12:40 Fridays

Clermiston Primary School

08:20 to 09:00 and 14:50 to 15:30 Mondays to Thursdays inclusive and

08:20 to 09:00 and 12:10 to 12:40 Fridays

St Peter’s RC Primary School

08:20 to 09:00 and 14:50 to 15:45 Mondays to Thursdays inclusive and

08:20 to 09:00 and 11:55 to 12:35 Fridays

Towerbank Primary School

08:20 to 09:10 and 15:00 to 15:40 Mondays to Thursdays inclusive and

08:20 to 09:10 and 12:10 to 12:35 Fridays

The proposals are shown on the attached plans and a copy of the street notice is herewith attached for your information. Further information is available on the Council website www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders or at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

Should you wish to submit an objection to the proposal, please do so by 30 November 2015 quoting notice reference number ETRO/15/45.
