This consultation aims to engage all stakeholders involved with and affected by large events in Edinburgh’s parks. Local residents and community groups, event organisers, attendees, external services such as police, fire and ambulance plus internal services such as the events team, public safety and neighbourhood teams.
The results will be reported to the Transport & Environment Committee on Tuesday 17th January 2017 and will be used to inform the planning and management of events in the year ahead.
As part of the “Edinburgh Parks Events Manifesto” the City of Edinburgh Council made a commitment to give everyone involved the opportunity to put their comments and thoughts forward for consideration. We will listen to what is said and try to mitigate any issues or problems that emerge from this consultation.
