Could you spare two hours for a conversation about the value of bathing water in Scotland?  
 
Collingwood Environmental Planning (CEP) is looking for local volunteers for a focus group to be held in Portobello in mid-October, as part of a project for the Scottish Government.  Comments made by participants during the focus group conversation will be treated in confidence and it will not be possible to identify any particular individual in the results.  
 
As a thank you for your contribution, all those who participate will receive £30 at the end of the session.
 
The conversation will be professionally facilitated and recorded so that the views expressed can be fed back to the Scottish Government to help inform decisions about investing in and managing beaches in the future.
 
If you are interested, we’d really like to hear from you.  Participants should live within ten miles of Portobello (West) beach.  CEP will select from those interested a group of 10-12 people that includes a mix of characteristics and backgrounds.
