From 29 October 2018 the 69 bus service will be operated on behalf of Lothian Buses by Prentice of Haddington.

Although operated by Prentice, it will still be part of the Lothian Buses network and Lothian Buses tickets, Ridacards and the National Entitlement Card will continue to be valid. The timetable will remain almost unchanged apart from a 30 minute break at 12.25.
