The competition was a bit different this year, with entries being made over a few weeks rather than all just on Big Beach Busk day… But a lot of you still had fun, while also raising some money for Portobello Toddlers Hut (you can still donate).

Again, judging was by local MP Tommy Sheppard: “I’m so glad that the sandcastle competition has kept going in these difficult times – albeit in a different form. Congratulations to everyone involved and particularly to those who entered. The standard is as high as ever and even though it’s been done online it was, as usual, no easy choice to pick a winner. I very much look forward to doing it live on the beach next year.”
