Support Workers – Edinburgh and the Lothians
Do you want to make a big difference to people’s lives and have a fulfilling career?
The Action Group provides services for people with learning disabilities and other support needs. This job entails working with adults and young people, helping them to maintain independent and fulfilling lives. Typical activities include assisting service users with household tasks, encouraging hobbies and interests, assisting with finances, completing paperwork, and providing personal care if required.
Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian
£16,731 – £17,509 per annum pro-rata
Casual support worker hourly rate: £8.25
Sleepover Payment of £57.60 per night
Candidates must be great communicators and problem solvers, and be fully committed to the Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all. No experience or formal qualifications are necessary.
