PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO PROHIBITIONS

I refer to our previous letter of 7 November 2016 regarding the above.

In accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999, I write to inform you that the City of Edinburgh Council proposes to advertise the Traffic Regulation Orders which will amend the with flow bus lanes to:

• (TRO/16/87A) allow motorcycles to use the bus lanes and
• (TRO/16/87B) change the operational hours to 7:30am to 9:30am & 4.00pm to 6.30pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

A copy of each street notice for the aforementioned Orders are herewith attached for your information including a plan indicating the bus lane areas. Further information is available on the Council website www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders or at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

Should you wish to submit an objection to the proposals, please do so by 23 December 2016 quoting the appropriate notice reference number TRO/16/87A and/or TRO/16/87B.
