The September meeting of Portobello Community Council, which was due to be held on Monday 30 September, has been cancelled.

This is due to the current community council elections, with the nomination period also closing on the 30th. Current community councillors would stop being so at 4pm, with potentially insufficient time to validate last minute nominations.

We will work with the returning officer regarding the October meeting date, depending on if an election is required.
