Porty Coronavirus Action

Hi

We’re a group of local Portobello residents who have come together to volunteer in our community with the aim of helping with shopping support for:

– People who are self-isolating
– Key workers who are struggling to get what they need due to long working hours and empty supermarket shelves
– People who are caring for young and/ or elderly relatives and are finding it difficult to get to the shops
Our website is now up and running – www.portycoronavirusaction.wordpress.com and contains information for those needing support and those wishing to volunteer.

We are reliant on local volunteers to help with the shopping requests while doing their own shopping. If you think you can help please drop us an email with your name and phone number – portycoronavirusaction@gmail.com – to register your interest.
Remember we’re not a professional organisation, we’re simply your neighbours trying to help in these difficult times.
