Supported by funding from Scotland’s Towns Partnership, “Shop Here This Year” is a digital campaign led by the City of Edinburgh Council which aims to inspire people to shop local. It will promote local businesses across 11 ‘town centres’ in Edinburgh, including Portobello.

Portobello Community Council is also looking to increase participation in its Traders Forum. This aims to bring High Street traders together, so we can share marketing and other campaigns we are aware of. It is also intended to discuss the future of the £1200 Traders Fund held by PCC, and investigate desire for a Portobello Business Association. Again, contact us to get involved.
