Some Porty households missed brown bin garden waste day as it moved from Friday to Wednesday at the start of the new season.  We were notified with the letter that came with our new yellow sticker.  If yours was missed, and you can’t wait, do let me know and I’ll try and get it lifted. If you don’t use the Council garden waste service, and still want to, you can sign up from 1 December 2021.  More at https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/gardenwaste. 

Scottish Water fixed the broken sewer on Portobello beach, at the Figgate Burn outflow, at the end of last week and they were doing CCTV surveys of the surrounding sewers this week.
