To celebrate the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the Queen’s Baton Relay will be travelling through Portobello on Saturday 14 June and you may wish to join in the celebrations and cheer on Portobello’s  Baton Bearers.    The Baton will start its journey in Portobello at approximately 4.15pm, travelling along the Promenade to Joppa, before coming back along the High Street then heading up Brighton Place (approx 5pm) then up to Duddingston via Portobello High School.
