No new major planning applications in the Portobello area have been submitted or decided in the last week.
The following minor applications have been decided:
- 14/04701/FUL is not classed as development: Alter window opening to form doorway and alter doorway to form window opening to rear of existing ground floor flat, at PF1 37 Marlborough Street
- 14/04120/LBC has been granted: Minor alterations to windows, at Brunstane Steading, Brunstane Road South
- 14/03791/FUL has been granted: Application to renew planning consent 11/02119/FUL for the erection of 6 flats, at Site 9 Metres East Of 24 Bath Street
- (Application on the same site for 5 flats is still being considered)
The following new applications have been submitted:
- 14/04594/LBC: Upgrade existing sash and case windows, keep the original casements but intend to replace with timber, reproduction sashes that will look identical, at 45 Bellfield Street
- 14/04745/FUL: Single storey rear extension to form a bedroom, at 18 New Tower Place
