Hi there. Myself and 18-20 other young men plus a team of coaches are starting a m football team in the Edinburgh/Portobello area. Most probably playing home games up at Cavalry or at the new Portobello High School when the new 5G pitches are completed the school that many of us went to. All the boys are very keen and have all played at a reasonable level ie SFL, SPL & Junior, as well as the coaches. We have everything set in place apart from a sponsor and a team name.. The reason I’m sending this email is to raise awareness that were looking to represent a pub/business in the local area, as most of us are local. We would be looking for a donation in return for advertisement on both our strips and team name… As well as constant use of the business. If the sponsorship comes from a pub, we would be able to get both teams back after every home game. That means 25+ Buying drinks, as well as team night outs starting from there. Which means the investment would be made back to the business within months. We also have a professional footballer looking to get involved in the coaching side of things – which could also boost awareness. We ask for a donation to go towards getting the team all set up ( strips, training gear ) the fee is negotiable… And has not been decided as yet – I’ll leave that down to the coaches. Who have left me to do the digging for sponsorship as the team was my idea, and I’m known locally. As I’ve said the investment would be made back within the space of around 6 months I would say.
