In early 2017 we asked for your feedback on proposed new play equipment for either the Pirate or Fish Parks on the Prom. New play equipment for the Pirate (Straiton Place) Park was the clear favourite, but delivery of this was delayed because City of Edinburgh Council Services for Communities approach other bodies for funding.

Good news is that additional funding was found – the Pirate park is getting:

• A two seat swing, with one seat fully accessible
• Mini climbing pyramid
• Nexus Altitude play system
• 5 piece outdoor gym

In addition to the existing equipment. See attached PDFs for further information.

This equipment is currently being installed.
